This course is designed for use only with the regulated LifeVac® medical device.
It must not be used with counterfeit or unregulated devices that imitate LifeVac. Some counterfeit products may look similar, but they are not genuine LifeVac devices and may be unsafe.
Counterfeit devices may:
- Fail to create the suction needed to clear an airway obstruction.
- Push an obstruction further down the airway, which could be fatal.
- Be made from cheap, untested materials.
- Lack regulatory approval and safety testing.
- Not carry valid CE marking or comply with medical device regulations.
Never rely on any device in a life-threatening emergency unless it fully complies with local and international medical device regulations.
To ensure you receive a genuine, regulated LifeVac device, purchase only from an official LifeVac website or authorised distributor.
All LifeVac® names, logos, images, videos, and course materials are protected intellectual property and remain the property of LifeVac®.
